COVERAGE IS THE KEY
VINEYARD
Our very first sprayer made its way into an apple orchard fifty years ago.
We’ve come a long way since then, evolving and expanding our range to suit the majority of horticulture and viticulture crops. What hasn’t changed is our commitment to giving growers the ultimate in spray coverage.
Croplands machines are built with a respect for Australia’s tough and varying terrain. Engineered to endure, Croplands spraying equipment gives growers the confidence to take on row after row. Saving time, reducing costs and maximising productivity.
Our premium fan range delivers unparalleled coverage, performance and reliability.
HIGH PERFORMANCE AIR-BLAST FANS
All our air-blast fans are engineered by Fieni, a global leader in agricultural fan design, manufacturing and innovation.
Croplands and Fieni have been collaborating since 1972, and together we set the standard for fan sprayer performance, efficiency, penetration and coverage. And with Fieni fans available from 500mm in diameter to 1060mm, there’s a model to meet your orchard’s needs.
TARGETED COVERAGE WITH CROPLANDS QUANTUM
Croplands Tower and Vineyard sprayers are fitted with Quantum™ hydraulic-driven fans.
The high-volume, turbulent air delivered by our Quantum sprayers opens up the foliage, allowing spray to penetrate into very dense canopies.
The Quantum fan design is very popular in vineyards and large-scale tree crop orchards. Delivering excellent spray coverage at high travel speeds so growers can enjoy exceptional efficiency while reducing costs.
TOP-QUALITY TANKS
With versatile sizes ranging from 3000 to 8000L, there’s a tank to match the scale of any operation.
Each one is hard wearing and long lasting with UV and chemical-resistant technology.
Venturi agitation optimises chemical suspension, while optional recirculation on larger models provides next-level agitation.
All models are equipped with flushing tanks that provide first-class boom hygiene and rinsing functions for a comprehensive tank clean out.
Integrated chemical induction hoppers ensure effortless chemical mixing and main-tank transfer.
And safety is always convenient thanks to freshwater handwashing tanks.
ROBUST BOOMS
Our booms bring reliability and stability to the table in equal measure. They range from 18 to 36m in size, depending on the model. Paddock proven, they’re capable of handling Australia’s tough conditions. And with chemical and corrosion resistance, you can trust they’ll stand the test of time.
Booms fold and lift hydraulically with a fold-in gull-wing style, and include an optional independent hydraulic wing lift and outer wing fold for spraying at half width.
Spray rails are internally mounted for nozzle protection.
Expect an unrivalled performance with non-drip, quick-release nozzle bodies with drift-reducing AirMix® air-induction nozzles. They’re spaced 50cm on a single line, with the option for triple nozzle bodies.
You also have the option to improve chemical distribution and penetration on small targets with 25cm spacings for single nozzles.
READY TO SPRAY
Get going faster and keep going with Croplands new boom prime/recirculation/flush system.
Available as standard on Pegasus 8000 and 7000 models; optional on Pegasus 6000 and 5000.
Prime
Prime each nozzle within minutes, ensuring the tank mix is correct from the very first headland spray.
Recirculate
Liquid is recirculated from the boom back to the tank – reducing product settling and minimising waste.
Flush
Liquid is flushed back through the boom section valves, returning product to the tank safely and efficiently.
BROADACRE TRAILED
PEGASUS
A good sprayer works well in ideal conditions. The perfect sprayer works anywhere.
Andrew Calvert, Croplands Pegasus 6000 owner, Western Victoria
Pegasus trailed sprayers provide reliable, user-friendly solutions with carrying capacity to match growers’ needs.
Engineered with the latest technology, Pegasus sprayers are as highly durable as they are easy to operate. They set the standard for reliability and efficiency, providing growers with confidence in their performance season after season.
Pegasus boom options range from 24 to 36-metres and feature the unique parallelogram boom lift and hydraulic accumulator suspension to maximise boom spraying stability, spraying accuracy and a dramatic improvement in boom life.
Heavy-duty UV and chemical spraying resistant polyethylene tanks are available in 5000, 6000, 7000 and 8000-litre sizes.
PEGASUS APPLICATION PACKAGES
For improved chemical distribution across the boom, upgrade to a stainless steel 1″ boom plumbing system with four major booms feeds. Boom tubes are bent at either 90 or 180 degrees to enhance flow for rapid auto-section response times and to minimise chemical residues or contamination.
The recirculation valve enables boom priming with every new full tank, while also helping to speed up the boom decontamination process.
250MM NOZZLE SPACING UPGRADE
250mm nozzle spacings provide improved penetration in stubbles and better chemical distribution in stubbles and better chemical distribution in uneven paddocks.
More nozzles often mean more effective results on challenges such as grasses. Air stop valves, fitted directly to the nozzle body, allow rapid auto-boom shut-off speeds – even with high boom pressures.
